Metro Holdout is a small, fast‑paced pixel‑art survival shooter set on the rooftop of a city. You play as a lone police officer trying to survive as long as possible against incoming enemies. Try and aim for the head for instant kills.

This build represents a small, self‑contained personal project created to demonstrate gameplay programming, UI design, and polish. I created this game for portfolio purposes. Its main purpose is to highlight responsiveness, and moment‑to‑moment feel.

I created some of the assets such as the Police officer character. The Title Screen and background of the title screen were created by me as well. I also created the pixel art for the UI elements in the gameplay. 

 Controls

  • Aim: Mouse
  • Shoot: Left Mouse Button
  • Reload: Right Mouse Button or R
  • Pause: ESC
